Tamara had a vision of this moment, and painted the same when she was 15 years old (see “Premonition”). This Oil Painting on canvas captures the image of Tamara’s commitment ceremony to William Byrnes from New Orleans, three decades later, in 2023, on a beach scene that looked like Premonition, an event that was unexpected and unplanned. The couple had only been dating for 2 months, and William proposed on board the aircraft en route to Mexico, where they married on the beach a few days later, with little planning and with near strangers in attendance. The couple electronically mailed the band they were planning to see in Mexico their intention to elope, and the band organized the event for William and Tamara. Of Note is the sequence of foresight, or premonition, actualized decades later, captured in a painting.
